Magic is Key exists to awaken wonder and clarity within every person, so together we may transform ourselves, our world, and the future we are co-creating.
Magic is inside us all and key to life making sense.
We understand magic as that which evokes wonder and purpose in a vast universe that keeps unraveling as it reveals new mysteries.
As adults, a main avenue to arrive at magic is through spiritual practices Built into these practices are processes by which we arrive at self-knowledge, truth and wisdom. We start asking questions, dare to feel the full spectrum of emotion and face initiation. Who we once were transforms to give birth to a new person so we may meet ourselves and the world with fresh eyes.
We need rebirth in order to meet a world that is changing at an ever faster pace. We need practices that not only instill a sense of connection with and love for everything in our living universe, but also helps us recognize the divine in all things. We are co-creators of a vast universe and our planet is currently at a cross-roads. We know life tomorrow will be different than it is today. How do we meet it? How do we meet ourselves?
The question we ask ourselves are: How can I fall in love with life and living? What is the future I am creating? How can I help tend to and care for this planet?
Our mission is to provide the studies and practices by which we can each come to our own answers.
We offer this in cooperation with spirits and guardians, gods and angels, ancestors and the divine.
Meet Pipaluk
Pipaluk's story with magic is as old as her memory.
Her journey with magic began at a young age. Vivid dreams, visions, and a deep curiosity of magic and what lies beyond life marked her early years.
After many years of dedicated self-study, she began formal training in shamanic witchcraft with award-winning author and international teacher Fio Gede Parma in 2012. In the summer of 2012 she received her Aspirant Blessing and in 2013 her Dedication Rite into the WildWood Tradition took place on a hill in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park.
In 2015 Pipaluk jumped on a plane ride to Bali and received her Shamanic Craft Initiation by a river. This was also the year she took on her first student within the WildWood Tradition. In September 2016 she traveled to the Hocking Hills in Ohio and received her Firebrand Initiation and became a Firebrand Priestess within the WildWood.
Returning to Amsterdam, she began teaching publicly that same year. She quickly realized that teaching magic, mysteries and witchcraft came with great responsibility. Her students were going through life-changing transformations and she felt she needed to learn more. By 2018 she received her 600 hour certification as a trauma informed VITA Sex, Love and Relationship Coach.
At the same time, Pipaluk opened up my first office on the most beautiful historical canal in Amsterdam. On the Bloemgracht, she helped women find their way to pleasure and orgasms, supported couples in rekindling their relationship, helped successful entrepreneurs start a personalized and thriving spiritual practice, and supported numerous clients on their journey towards inner truth, wisdom and joy. She has hosted many group rituals, workshops, taught classes on tarot, witchcraft, breath work, trance journeying and much, much more.
Practicing, studying and sharing magic to uplift our hearts and the world is her greatest passion.
Pipaluk is always studying and learning new things. Her further studies and certifications include, but are not limited to:
- Oracle Arts Apprenticeship, tending to the first Oracle Clan Temple Foundation Stone which was passed in ritual in Nevada City
- Almost a decade of apprenticing in Feri Anderson Witchcraft and the Reclaiming Witchcraft Tradition
- Extensive training in Trance Work, Witchcraft, and Ritual
- Currently studying Seidr, Shamanic Healing, Runes and Rune Magic, Gong Fu Sword, Astrology and reading the Oracle Divination Board, Ancient Egyptian Magic and Kabbalah
- Certified Crystal Healer
- Extensive Training in Tarot and Divinatory Methods & Experience as a Professional Tarot Reader

Our GRANDMOTHER COUNCIL is a growing number of elders who have agreed to advise us and actively support Magic is Key. They help ensure that we and our work are in right relationship with all beings.
Our Founding Story
We had all put on crisp and clean shirts with buttons at the front. Jeannette, our mother, sat at the table with Serafina, and Pipaluk stood swaying at the edge breastfeeding her first child, only 5 months old. Pen and paper lay in front of us as the notary read through all the paperwork out loud. A few signatures later Magic is Key GmBH was a legal entity.
Turn back time a couple of months and you would have seen Serafina and Pipaluk going through some of the most challenging months of their lives.
While Serafina was at the height of her career working for startups her health and well-being was crumbling. Something had to change. Meanwhile Pipaluk was nearing the end of her first pregnancy facing the leap of the precipice that is motherhood. For both sisters, nothing would ever be the same again.
In the dark winter nights, not too far from the Winter Solstice, they decided now was the right time to work together. Pipaluk had already started putting her work into online format so she could continue her Mission of Magic while raising children. All that was missing was the practical and focused mind of Serafina with a background in start ups to make it work. With the support of Jeannette, their mother, Magic is Key is a women owned family business run with a lot of love.
We are dedicated and devoted to helping people discover the magic within themselves. We know that this is key in order to meet the global challenges we currently face. What we offer helps fortify us during tough times. It also instills love and a sense of connection that strengthens us so that we can do our part in tending to and caring for the world.
